Can Change In Anti Depressant Cause No Periods And Sudden Onset?

Hello doctor, I am on lexapro 30 mg and have just stopped Ativan ( 1 mg to 2.5 mg) nocte. I stopped the Ativan 7 nights ago. Was doing ok, but today have feelings of derealisation and dizziness. I also had an ablation 14 months ago, with no periods but suddenly haemorrhaged yesterday. Wld there be any connection? I m seeing my gyne today. Thank you Rachelle 47 yrs old

Hello
Welcome here.
I donot think there is any connection between hemorrhage and withdrawal of ativan. But yes, dizziness and derealisation can possibly due to withdrawal from ativan. You should consult a psychiatrist too.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
