Can Changing From Losartan To Some Pill Of Different Supplier Cause Increase In BP ?

I have taken Losartan for about 2 years, my blood preasure has been consistently 111 to116 over 70 to74 never any higher than 122 over 78, my pharmacy has changed suppliers and instead of a white pill of 50 mg, I now am getting an oval green pill 50 mg. I take two a day. My blood preasure is now 138 to 144 over 91 to 100 there has been no change in life style or diet. Everyone is telling me the pills are the same. Do to the Hypertension when first diagnosed I also have some kidney damage however blood shows everything is back down to normal levels(High normal) but stable.

Dear sir/madam, you are right. ya definetely response of the drug to reduce blood pressure depends on the pill manufacturers. Ideally well known and established manufacturers products will have high potency. I would like to advise you to stick on to the first pill only.
