Can Chest Pain, Runny Nose And Breathlessness Occur After Physical Exercise Due To Upper Respiratory Infection?

I have recently come off of a upper respiratory infection, so I have been off of running. I was told when I would be cleared to run, and I have tried to resume training. However, I still have a somewhat runny nose, so I haven t been running. However, I went for a run today, and after just around a minute, my chest started hurting, and I suddenly became out of breath. I had to stop and catch my breath before I could keep on, but I decided to walk back home instead of pushing something that might need healing. What is wrong?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the lower respiratory infection, may be a spread from the upper respiratory infection, due to cold weather.
I advise you to consult a chest physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylephrine, citrizine, and theophylline is there is breath less ness.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
