Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
Several of the medicines you are on can produce gastritis. Why are you on Cifran? If you have been proven to have a bacterial infection you are required to take it. Do not take medicines empirically.
If there is no evidence of infection, you can stop the cifran and see if the situation improves. Also avoid spicy, acidic food like lemon, orange etc, caffeinated drinks, chocolates.
Do get back to me if you have further queries.
