does cipralex increase the risk of breast cancer?

Im a28yr old lady,(Ht. 167,wt.57) suffering from depression on cipralex 10mg daily,heared lately about cipralex and breast cancer,,however we dont have aFHX. of breast ca ,we do have a strong FHX. of lung cancer.

Hello.There is no scientific studies linking directly Escitalopram with breast cancer.
In people who have had breast cancer and taking Tamoxifen (drug widely used in breast cancer patients),the combination of escitalopram with tamoxifen should be
with great caution.I wish you good health

HELO AND WELCOME. NO THERE IS NO CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE TO SUGGEST THAT CIPRALEX OR PROZAC AND OTHER CLASSES OF SSRI s INCREASE THE RISK OF BREAST CANCER. THANX
