Can Contraceptive Pill Be Taken For Delaying Periods?

Hello, I am currently using the contraceptive pill ethinylestradiol/desogestrel. Am I able to take this pill to delay my period as I am due to go on holiday and if so how would I take the pill to delay it, do I just start next months pack straight away instead of waiting a week? Thank you.

Hello, Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
Oral contraceptive tablets if continuously taken without a break will delay the periods .
So you should take the next month 's pack without the normal 1 week gap.
Take care,
