Can Cortisone Injection Cause High Liver Enzymes?

I am about to have a 3rd cortisone injection. one last may for shoulder, one a month ago for si joint pain, and this one coming up for hip pain. I have liver enzymes that are quite high (non-alcoholic fatty liver) I don t know how much cortisone can make liver enzymes even higher. The doctor is aware of the fatty liver. I am considering not having this 3rd injection.

Hi
Cortisone injection doesn't cause liver enzymes to rise. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease can cause derranged liver enzymes. You should go for 3rd injection as advised by your treating doctor. Thank you for consulting at HCM.
