Can Coughing Up A Thick Rubbery Substance Be A Sign Of Sinus?
my daughter has been coughing up a thick rubbery substance that looks clear or pale greyish white for a couple of months, could this be from a sinus infection? or, something more serious. she does not have a regular cough, or sniffles and does not seem sick. she just suddenly hacks up this stuff, in small pieces. like spongie rubbery type texture.
I reviewed your history. These symptoms indicate respiratory tract infection and can be sinus related infection also. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
