Can Doxepin Cause Hair Thinning?

Dr. Grief, I am a 62 year old white female in basically good health. My life is stressful. Had an accident 2 years alo which has cause pain in my leg. I take anti -depressant and anti-anxiety pill. I have utrticaria which is not under control. I noticed my hair is thinning badly. My insurance does not cover blood results required by a hair loss specialist. Do you think Doexpin could be doing this?

Having utricaria, stress, anxiety, depression is often/usually associated with hair loss. While many medicines are associated with hair loss, they are not often associated with it as much as stress is.
