Can Eating Half Cooked Pork Lead To Flu Like Symptoms?
sx for4 days & not letting up. Flulike aches, head is pounding, no fever, no appetite, I have managed to eat fruit & drink ice water but can't consume much at one time or I nauseas. Moderate diarrhea.r Last Friday, 5 days ago I age a small portion of poorly cooked pork. Sx started less that 24 hrs later.
thanks for your query. consuming half cooked meat is really dangerous .this could cause you food poisoning,severe stomach upset.you may become infected with the toxoplasma parasite if you eat meat that is raw or pink and bloody in the middle. This can lead to toxoplasmosis, which causes a flu-like illness that develops several weeks after you've become infected.Undercooked meat can also carry a risk of food poisoning caused by salmonella bacteria.visit your gasteroenterologist for further treatment.
