Can Epidural Cause Metallic Taste In Mouth?

I have had a metallic taste in my mouth, bad headache, and low grade temp. that comes and goes of 100 since Thursday. I did have an epidural over a week ago and thrush was one of the possible side effects, but I am not having any of the other symptoms. I also took a pre-medication of amoxicillin before a dentist appt. on Wednesday, but have done this before and have not had any problems.

Hi,
Thanks for posting the query,

I would suggest you to get an examination done by the Dentist, you can continue with tab amoxicillin in addition you can take antiseptic mouthwash rinses also lukewarm saline rinses.
