Can Epilepsy Treated With Lonazep?

Dear Sir,



Im taking everyday night one of each Feliz S10mg and Lonazep 0.25 mg from last two and half month, i really want to stop it. Is it ok that I can stop myself like taking instated of taking one each, I can take half every day..then slowly i can stop it. please advice

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

Feliz S is an antidepressant, escitalopram from Torrent company. Lonazep (Clonazepam) is a sedative (sleeping pill) and is used for treating insomnia and anxiety.

These medications would not help in treating epilepsy.

If you have depression and anxiety, you should continue both escitalopram and clonazepam. If you do not have depression and anxiety, these medications may be stopped, however, it should be done after consulting your doctor.
