Can Excessive Drinking Cause Light Sensitivity And Dull Pain?

Hi there, i had a bit to drink last night, and i kept drinking water inbetween each drink, but i still got a little hungover this morning. My eyes feel really sensitive to the light, and they wont stop watering, they also have a dull pain, and almost feel dry if that makes any sense? Is this normal? and why does it happen?
