Can Face Swelling And Bruising, Ear Pain, Tinnitus With Dysphagia Be Treated?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your queryi have been hit in the head by a horses head. it hit me in the ear and all down one side of my face. that part of my face has swelled and is red/purple (i think it will bruise) but my ear is killing. out side and in. on the out side it's red and throbbing but it's the inside I'm worried about. it hurts when i swallow. i cant hear properly out of it and when it happened i heard a massive, really loud ringing for about 10seconds and i can still hear a kind of buzzing. my own voice sounds different.

Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Since there was no loss of consciousness and no vomiting, the condition is not severe.

However, you need to be evaluated at your ER, because there may be fracture of temporomandibulary joint and/or temporal bone that is causing your symptoms.

At least, an evaluation by a Doctor and x-rays of the affected are are needed to evaluate better your condition.

Hope you found the answer helpful. Take care.
