Can Fever With Sore Throat Be Symptom Of Rectal STD?

I sex with a fellow man last thursday and after that i get a fever but before i got a fever with sore throat i went to the clinic to check my blood if i have HIV and it was negative my sex buddy got STD and it is because we dont use prtotection.. in my part do you think it was rectal std what will i do?

thank you for query.it is not clear about the std your partner had and how many times you had this episode.You have to consult your doctor to rule out any STD or HIV in you.Always have protected intercourse to prevent such sufferings,also anal sex has higher rates of transmission for STDs and HIV.so avoid this route.
