Can Fluconazole Be Used To Cure Itchy, Pus-filled Bumps In Vagina And Swelling In Urinary Tract?
My wife is 25 years of age having a 02 years age of child who is breast feeding.
She is suffering itching problem on her vaginal area for the last 10 days., some small puss filled bumps also developed and bursted on surrounding vaginal area and foot/leg/hand. Her outer urinary tract swelled and area looks like reddish, also labia majora swelled and felt pain; skin on vaginal area also cracked.
Unfortunately she used expied sanitary napkin of Whisper.
What will be her best treatment, she is now treated with Fluconazole 200 mg /once a week , Terbinafin cream and Acyclovir tablet/01 in 06 hours, Please suggest.

Hi,
First of all, if she is breastfeeding her baby, should stop breastfeeding while taking treatment as they could cause side effects to the baby.
I suggest to continue with the medications started from her doctor, then to :
- do urine analysis
- vaginal swab testing
- abdominal/transvaginal ultrasound
