Can Food Baked In Oven With Plastic On It Be Eaten?

My daughter baked a meal in the oven with the plastic lid that was supposed to be removed before cooking. Should we just throw it out now? It was a pre made meal from grocery store in the black plastic container with clear lid that is to be removed and covered with foil. Unfortunately she covered it with the foil but did not remove plastic lid.

If the plastic lid was above the foil the food can be consumed without any risk to health but if there would have been the direct contact of the food with the plastic lead then it is better to dicard the food.
