Can Food Stuck In The Esophagus Cause Ulcers In Stomach?

My dad had a piece of hotdog stuck down his esophagus blocking food, which made food come back up for 4 days. They pushed the hotdog down with a scope. He also had an infection in his stomach. He was now told that he has ulcers. Would the stuck hotdog be the cause?? Thank you

Your query being appreciated, it may not be the food stuck inside he might gone through the endoscopy and it could be ulcer formation but the stuck of food is not the reason, chances of esophagitis could be the cause, with the proper medicines everything will be alright, hope this information helps.
