Can Frequent Urination And Lower Abdominal Pain Be Signs Of Water Infection?
I think I might have a water infection. I am constantly wanting to go to for a wee, and i am getting a presistant pain in my lower abdomin and I also want to do a poo, but when a go to the loo there is very little excriment that comes out. I have to the toilet around twenty times so far today. Can you tell me the cause of this and can I do to ease the pain and get better? Many thanks.
Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have UTI mainly infection of the Urinary Bladder (Cystitis)
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Taking urinary antispasmodics like Flavoxate will help to resolve problem of urgency and frequency.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
