Can Gallstones Cause Left Sided Breast Pain?

can gall stones cause pain in left side under breast and up back to shoulder? Also idigestion and belching. my 82 year old mother has these symptoms and has been diagnosed with a gall stone. Interestingly her pain is left sided. She has a hernia as well. A CT scan found something in the top of her left lung but dr said it would not cause pain. She is to have a PET scan in 4 weeks to determinr th something

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Pain on left side with belching and indigestion features, most probably gastritis. Pain is known to radiate to back.
2. Gall stone pain will be more spasmodic and not seen on left side.
3. Proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazole with domperidone will be helpful. Also probiotics to improve digestion along with digestive enzymes will be beneficial.
