Can Hernia Be Cured By Medications?

Hi Sir, My Name is vijay, My MOM is suffering from Hernia since long time and we had a surgery also in 2007-2008 but since then it was not much pain. Again recently she is complaining of pain and we got the scanning done. Got to know that 1.4 cm length HERNIA. Please do let us know how critical is this? Can this be controlled thru medications only? PS: My mom has undergone the Neck Tumour surgery recently and she is recovering slowly.

Hi.
Read and understood history about your Mom undergone the surgery of Neck tumor and hernia in past.
Now has pain, and hernia has recurred.
Yes, hernia of 1.4 cm in length can cause problems as it is symptomatic means the neck is small and causing some recurrent obstruction.
I would advise you to take her for hernia surgery the moment she recovers from the neck surgery.
