Can Hernia Be The Reason For Delayed Period?
Hello, I have recently visited my dotors and they have told me that I have a suspected hernia in my groin area. I was ment to be on my period on the 4th of July and still have not had it. It is sometimes a day or two late but never this long. I have taken a pregnancy test and that has come back negative. I was wondering if the hernia may have stopped or delayed my period?

Hernia does not cause delayed periods and it is totally a different entity. It is a protrusion of bowel through week abdominal wall and doesn’t have any relation with ovaries or hormones. The delayed period may be due to something else.
