Can High Dose Of Armour Thyroid Cause Weakness, Tiredness, Dizziness And Anxiety?

Hello, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 7 years ago. I am 54 female. I was on 90 mg Amour thyroid. I went to a different doctor and was told I needed to up my dosage to 120 mg. my tests came back with . 01 tsh and .8 t4 and 3.8 t3. After taking the higher dose now for 25 days I feel weak, tired, dizzy, sick, anxious. Just overall I don t feel like I used to. I think my meds are to high? I have no other health issues. Can you help?

Yes, your doses are high. Thus suppressing the TSH levels.you are having the symptomatology because of high thyroid hormone levels.

Yes, your dose needs revision. t3 liothyronine is 4 times potent as t4 Levothyroxine on a microgram to microgram basis.
