Exclusive breast feeding is recommended for children upto 6 months of age i.e. no water or any other type of feed needs to be given to a child of this age. Even if you give formula feeds if breast milk is not adequate or available, water does not need to be given (irrespective of temperature) as it will unnecessarily reduce the hunger and interfere with nutrition of the baby. For a baby of this age passing stool once in 10 days is as normal as is passing 10 times a day and in neither case there is any reason to be concerned. Colimex is for reduction of abdominal colic which can cause incessant cry. It will not cause stool to be passed.
