Can Hyoid Bone Be Felt By Tilting Head Back?

Hello, I can feel this hard, small bump right in the center of my upper neck. It is been there for years and for years I thought that this was my Hyoid Bone...just from looking at anatomy pictures. Its in the same spot as the Hyoid Bone. Is it possible to feel your Hyoid Bone when tilting your head back and rubbing your fingers along your neck? There is no pain, or any other symptoms. Should I be concerned?
