I GET A STRAINED AND CROAKY VOICE ON AND OFF THROUGH THE DAY. IT STARTED SEVERAL YEARS AGO ON AN OCCASIONAL BASIS BUT RECENTLY IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING EVERY DAY I HAVE ALSO RECENTLY BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM WOULD THIS BE THE CAUSE OF THE CHANGING VOICE?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Its very common in patients with hypothyroidism to have hoarseness of voice. It will get better after treatment with thyroxine.
