Can I Continue Taking Darolac Capsules For Erosive Gastritis?

Can I still continue the use of my Darolac capsules which expiration was In Feb. 2014, about three months now. I bought large quantity of the druge While In India, For use While In Nigeria. I was a patient at Fortis Escort Hospital where I was prescribed the drug For my Erosive gastritis. Do I need TO stop the use of the drug or not?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of ersive gastritis for which you were prescribed Darolac capsules.
You have a stock of expired medicines brought from India.
Well, Darolac is not given for erosi be gastritis but is given for colitis and bacterial flora disturbance.
If you do not have any symptoms then you do not need any medications.
The expired medicines stock should not be used and disposed properly.
If you have any symptoms, please consult the local Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination, investigations and proper prescription based treatment.
Take care about what you eat and drink.
Soft bland diet.
If any burning pain in upper abdomen, try PPI like Omeprazole, antacids and supportiveedication.
