Can I Eat High Potassium Foods While On Loestrin 24 Tablets?
Hi, I used to take Ocella and read that when taking this Rx, I should avoid high potassium foods like dates, bananas, coconut water, etc, because Ocella elevated the body s potassium level. Now that I ve switched to Loestrin24, can I go back to eating high potassium foods or should I continue to avoid them? Thank you for your help!

You are correct, in Ocella is the medication Drosperinone, which can increase the potassium level. Loestrin 24 does not have this ingredient, and so it would be safe to eat high potassium foods with this medication.
