Can I Give Meftal P For High Fever In Children?

Hi, My daughter is 1.8 years and having fever and loose motion... We have given 4ml meftal P syrup (at 8PM ) but temp not reduced. Temp is still 102 at this time (3 AM) . Can we give meftal P syrup now . How much time difference is required between meftal dose? body weight is 9kg

Hello,

You should keep 6 hours between two doses. However, if the temperature is persistently elevated at around 102, I would advise you to visit your primary healthcare provider for a proper workup.
