Can I Give Cetzine Syrup For Cough And Runny Nose Of A 15 Month Baby?

Hi, My daughter is 15 months old and has a bad cough along with runny nose for last 3 days. So far we tried homeopathy combination (bryonia, arsenic and ipecac), however runny nose does not seem to heal. She is healthy otherwise. Can I give her Cetzine syrup? if yes please let me know the dose too. Thanks in advance, DIbs

Thanks for the query.
We avoid cetrizine below 2 yrs. of age.
For runny nose you can give susp. monticope 5ml once at night can be safer alternative.
For cough you can give syp. ventorlin three times a day , dose depends upon weight.
See a doctor if the problem persists for more than 2 to 3 days or if there is fever, child is irritable, refusing to eat.
