Can I Give Lactogen 1 Instead Of NAN 1 To A 1 Month Old Baby?

hi this is milton from bangladesh, Khulna district. I have a baby boy 30 days. doctore suggest us NAN1 for him (as he dont get even a single drop of BM from his mother). on the other hand NAN is not available in my place. may I use Lactogen1 instead of it?

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
You can happily give Lactogen in place of NAN.
Both are same,nothing to worry.
When you are giving formula milk instead of BM, see that you give 150 ml/kg body weight in 24 hours.
