Can I Have Alka-seltzer Along With OTC Medication?

Im taking prilosec before bfast and gas x after meals for a month which is prescribed by my doctor because i have a GERD. The problem is sometimes for some reasons this medication is not working for me. Can i take alka seltzer with these otc medication?
