Can I Have Beer While The Medication For Ulcerative Colitis?

I am a patient of ulcerlative colitus and am on Wysolone 10 taking it three times a day for the last one week. Doctor have informed that this medicine has a six week cycle being gradually reduced every week by 5 mg . I would like to know whether I can have a glass or two of beer once a week without any harmful effect ?

I really appreciate your concern, it is advisable to avoid the alcohol Wysolone is the steroid and taking alcohol with steroid is not advisable, once you finished the course of medicine and cures the disease then you can have the alcohol but prior to medical fitness hope this information helps.
