Can I Increase The Dose Of 'clavam 625' For Nose Pain?

my wife is suffering from pain behind the nose. she has asthma and was taking inhalers for quite some time. she is also having sinus complaints. the pain has become unbearable in last 2 days. mild fever was also there. doctor has prescribed calvam 625 twice a day. she has till now taken 2 tablets-one yesterday night and another today morning. from today afternoon again the pain is recurring. please suggest whether she can increase the dose. she is 40 yrs old and weights 54 kg .

hello, thanks for your query, actual adult dose of augmentin is 625 mg thrice daily for 7 days. pain can be managed with pain killers like tab. ultracet( tramadol+ paracetamol ) . all the best. take care.
