Can I Stop The Medicines For Bp As I Feel Some Problem In Having Sex?
hi!,i am 45(m),taking (metoprolol) met xl 12.5mg /day in morning from last 4 years. my BP is remains 130/84 To 140/88. i have no diabatic problem.now a days i feel some problem in sex like ED. can i stop this drugs? or have to take it lifetime?............

hi dear,
due to blood pressure medication you have sexual problem and for that you should not stop blood pressure medication and if you do that your blood pressure goes up and there are other complication following it. so ask your doctor whom you are on treatment for blood pressure to change molecule which has no sexual side effects.
even if you not improved consult psychiatrist for detail history and counselling.
