Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello, i just had removed a polio and and fibroid and apparently my uterus has other fibroids os smaller size that they did not remove as I am 51 and will enter menopause. Can i do the HCG injections for a month? is it dangerous wit my condition? typo error mensal polip
Fibroids are generally left alone unless they cause symptoms like pain, constipation, large stomach, urinary retention, intestinal obstruction etc. With you fast approaching menopause during which these fibroids significantly reduce in size, I will rather advice that you adopt a watchful approach than going aggressive on this. If you still want to take HCG injections for this, it is safe but i fear that it may not be a wise way to tackle this problem.
I hope this helps. I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information should need be. Thanks. Dr. Ditah, MD.
