Can I Take Clingen Forte During Periods?

my last period date was 12 of oct and now as per doctors directions i have to take clingen forte because of infection in vagina and my periods are expected on 10 or 11 of nov. can i take this medicine today as i will be having periods during the course of medicine.

Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Vaginal tablets or inserts should not be taken during periods.
The medication would wash out with the blood coming out during your menses.
Please wait till your period is over, and then take the course of Clingen forte as advised.
Otherwise, there is no safety concern .
Oral antifungals can be taken during your periods.
It is best to avoid inserting vaginal tablets however.
Please consult your doctor about the expected period,so that medication can be modified accordingly.
