Can I Take Diazepam For Panic Attacks During Pregnancy?

Im 19 weeks pregnant and have had severe anxiety attacks in the past, resulting in me taking fluoxetine. When i found out i was pregnant i stopped sndnow im getting panics again suddenly as the baby is pushing up against my lungs andi cant sleep, my temporary doctor prescribed me 2mg doses of diazepam, is itsafe to take casually and wil the first time affects be okay? As im nervous!

I understand your concerns.

Diazepam is relatively safe in pregnancy, especially when taken on SOS basis.
You can take 2 mg tablets as prescribed by your doctor when needed.
Also practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation to keep your mind relaxed.
