Can I Take Meprate For 7 Days For Postponing Periods?

HI ! My last period was on 4rth oct , i have a 26 day cycle , I didnt wanted to have mense on 3rd nov due to diwali celebration. For first three days of mense i cannot do puja. I started taking Meprate from 28th , twice daily. Can i take it till 3rd nov , i.e for 7 days ?

Thanks for the query.
Better to use any medicine with doctor's advice only.
Meprate contains medroxy progesterone.
It usually helps in postponing the menstrual periods.
You should take the tablets till the date you want to postpone the periods.
After stopping the pills, you may get periods in 4 to 5 days usually.
You may have side effects like nausea, bloating sensation etc.
But these will usually subside soon without need of medication.
