Can Ice Ease Swelling On A Disabled Arm Due To Falling?

Good Evening, my disabled mother fell, twice yesterday. Tonight she has showed me her right wrist-her right arm is disabled and does not move, her wrist has swellen (we live 45 miles from hospitals). Can I put some ice on for the swelling and take her in tomorrow??

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury from the falling.

I suggest using ice compresses for relieve.

I also suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.
