Can Indigestion Cause Twitching?
My father has had issues with indigestion his whole life. He is experiencing some discomfort upon lying down when trying to sleep. I think he is having twitching or spasms but he can t quite explain it to the family doctor. Does this sound too general to diagnose?

Noted the history about your Father having indigestion all his life and now says gets twitchings which is difficult to diagnose.
I would advise you the following:
Consult a Neurologist for clinical evaluation and examination, further investigations of serum electrolytes, MRI of brain, nerve conduction studies.
There is a possibility of getting a proper diagnosis and having proper great treatment.
