Can Intake Of Citalopram By Partner Cause Pelvic Pain And Cramps After Sex?

hello, my last menstrual period was feb 1-7. I had unprotected sex on the 12th and immediately began having pain and cramps in my pelvic area. on the 13th I began spotting. My boyfriend informed me that he takes a medication CITALOPRAM and it could be causing a reaction in me. is this even possible and if not, what could be the problem?

No, citalopram will not cause this problem. This problem could be due to infection in your vagina or cervix, or endometriosis.
