Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my son had a drink of coke a cola, yesterday at tea time, went to bed 2hrs later & when he got up this morning i noticed he d had a nosebleed in the night, could the cola have caused it? he is 4yrs old, this is only the 4th or 5th time he has had it in his life.
Coke doesn't cause nose bleeds. As he had it previously too, I feel that it could be due to the Kisselbach's plexus of blood vessels in his nasal septum which might have ruptured due to nosed picking and this is the most common reason for the nose bleeds.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sumanth
