Can Intake Of Medication Cause Any Problem In The Urine Drug Tests?
I had a urine drug test of four panels and I take lots of medication like clonazapin, antibiotics , prazosinfor my terror nightmares, trazadone , lortab because I had several fibroids that had ruptured and iwas giving different kinds of of pain medicine thru my I V. I was also giving antibiotics trhu my IV amoxicillin ,clydamamycin HCL,Zoloft and I also drink herb tea.
Yes, certain drugs can affect the results of urine drug tests. Lortabs are narcotics, and other pain medicines may be narcotics, and these will show up in a urine test. Clonazapin may also affect results. When you have a test for drugs, you should tell the people doing the test all the drugs that you are taking by prescription, or have a note from your doctor about them. That way they will know if a positive test comes back, that this was prescribed for medical reasons. Hope this helps.
