Can Itching, rashes Under Arms A Side Effect Of Prednisone 20mg?

Im calling my doctor tomorrow, but am concerned. I was prescribed 20 mg of prednisone for a severe reaction i was having to poison ivy. I had to take one pill every night for 7 days, on the last day of taking it i started getting itchy and now after being off of it for 3 days, have developed a rash under my arms and around my abdomen area. Is it from taking the prednisone?

short answer:hope you are getting allergic due to prednisolone

detailed answer : the symptoms seems like prednisolone side effects have given itching rashes under arms. you need to be examined carefully and treated accordingly. so you have a visit to a dermatologist. to prevent further damage stop the medication and have plenty of anti oxidants and healthy food intake. anti histamines medications help.
hope this explains.
