Can Lack Of Oxygen Cause Throbbing Pain In Calves While Having RLS?
I m a 53yr old woman who does have R.L.S.,however the pains in my calves are different like a tightening throbbing all the time. I Have had a head cold and earache since the 20th of Dec. I was wondering whether lack of oxygen could be causeing this problem?
Dear patient Lack of oxygen in blood an lead to calf pain. Oxygen is important for catalytic reaction and energy formation in muscles and also for aerobic process. So lack of oxygen leads to onset of anerobic process and lactic acid formation which leads to pain. So oxygen is must for normal aerobic process.
