Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Lack of oxygen in blood an lead to calf pain. Oxygen is important for catalytic reaction and energy formation in muscles and also for aerobic process. So lack of oxygen leads to onset of anerobic process and lactic acid formation which leads to pain. So oxygen is must for normal aerobic process.
