Can Magnesium Supplement Be Taken Along With Metoprolol-ER Succinate, Amlodipine Besylate, Simvastatin And Clopidogrel?
I have been having problems getting to sleep. I have recently begun taking 400 MG Magnesium, as I ve heard most Americans are not getting enough, and it is said to aid in sleeping. I also take Metoprolol ER Succinate 100 MG, Amlodipine Besylate 5 MG, Simvastatin 40 MG, and Clopidogrel 75 MG. Is the Magnesium supplement a problem taken with the listed drugs? I am 71, 6 , 180# male. YYYY@YYYY
You are a cardiac patient, and magnesium affects the heart work, especially when there is a cardiac problem. You should use other ways of sleeping problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
