Can Medications Help Increase Height In Children?

My son is 13 years old, weight 70Kg, 4.5ft. He is healthy and active, plays cricket. His height is less then the other friends in same age but his west is 38 inches like me. Do you think we should give him some medicines to increase his height or it would be too early?

Hi...there are no medicines to increase the height, but definitely there are hormonal therapies like - growth hormone therapy. But I think your kid is almost 13 years now and hence he might not be a right candidate to start the growth hormone therapy. Am telling this because his bone epiphyses might already been closed. I suggest you see your endocrinologist for this.
