Can Medicines For High Fever And Cold Cause Delay In Menstrual Period?

hi doctor
i had last menstrual period on 0000 and when i have menstrual cycle of 28 days, i should again get it back on this last thursday,which is 9th of jan 2014, but it didnt occuer, i am not sure whether i m pregnant or not.
I had took some medicine due to high fever,cold and cough, can it be a reason for delay or menstrual period ?

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
This time it appears that the delay may be due to the fever and the medicines used for it.
The other causes for the irregular periods may be the anemia, and infection. If it repeats you can consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein
rich foods to improve the blood, and resistance against the infections.
