Can Meniscus Tear Reoccur With Knee Pain After Injury?

hi a few moths ago i was out and i was running down a steep hill and my left knee twisted right round and i fell to the ground when i got up i couldnt put pressure on my leg so when i got home i went to hospital and they said i had a meniscus tear , so a few months ago it felt fine but for tha last couple of days i have a pain in the same leg on my knee i was wondering if it was possibly torn again.
